Abstract

3-(O-Carboxymethyl)-17p-acetoxy-17or-ethynyl-19-norandrost-4-en-3-one Oxime (9). 17a- Ethynyl-17p-acetoxy-19-norandrost-4-en-3-one oxime (2.0 g) was dissolved in 10 ml of pyridine and treated with 1. O g of carboxymethoxylamine hemihydrochloride. The mixture was heated on a steam bath for 0.5 hr and poured into a large amount of ice and water.
