Abstract
A series of 2-(aryi-or alkylethyny1) benzenealkanamines were synthesized. They exhibit antihypertensive activity in spontaneously hypertensive rats and coronary vasodilator activity with minimal negative inotropic activity in the" Langendorff" guinea pig heart in vitro.
