Abstract
Abstract Platinum nanoclusters supported on a polymer/carbon black composite material was found to be an excellent catalyst for the oxidative cyclization of phenolic and thiophenolic Schiff bases to 2-substituted benzoxazoles and benzothiazoles under ambient conditions.
