Abstract

An efficient synthesis of both the enantiomers of N-(2-phenylethyl)-8- hydroxypentadecacarboxamide using the cytotoxic principles of Telesto riisei has been formulated using cyclohexylideneglyceraldehyde 1 as the chiral template.
