Abstract
Phosphide anions, prepared by an action of sodium dihydridobis (2-methoxyethanolato) aluminate on derivatives of phosphine, phosphine oxide, or phosphorus esters, react with primary and secondary alkyl halides to produce phosphine derivatives having a newly formed phosphorus-carbon bond.
