Abstract
Among the acylmethylene phosphoranes, the mono-and/3-dicarbonyl (diacyl-) ylides widely used as Wittig reagents are well known [4, 36]. Much less studied are the acyl ylides having t~-dicarbonyl (includng oxyalyl) moieties [7, 20, 21, 26, 32, 33]. In preceding papers [1, 2, 9, 11, 31], it was shown that oxalylmethylenephosphoranes may be used in reactions with carbonyl compounds for introduction of ethoxalyl, oxamoyl, and oxalylhydrazide moieties. ...
