Abstract
The ubiquitous use of aryl, alkenyl, and alkyl boronic acids for the formation of new CÀC, CÀN, and CÀO bonds in crosscoupling reactions is indicative of the importance of these compounds in organic synthesis.[1] Although the use of boronic acids for the preparation of a variety of new bonds is well established, we were interested in testing if the reactivity of alkenyl boronic acids could be further diversified to include dioxygenation and the ...
