Abstract

Ribonucleotide reductases are enzymes that catalyze the conversion of ribonucleotides to 2'- deoxyribonucleotides. This important reaction is initiated by the generation of a C- 3'nucleotide radical and subsequent loss of the 2'-hydroxyl group.
