Abstract

A convenient way for the synthesis of benzimidazole-based Pd–N-heterocyclic carbene complex and its structural characterization are described. The complex efficiently catalyzes Suzuki cross-coupling reaction in a wide variety of substrates including heteroaromatic system at ambient condition.
