Abstract

Immunostimulatory saponin based colloidal antigen delivery systems show promise as adjuvants for subunit vaccines. For this reason, allyl oleanolate was glycosylated at the 3- position using trichloroacetimidate donors to give monodesmodic saponins following deprotection.
