Abstract
A wide variety of 4-amino-1, 2-naphthoquinones, related to the presumed active metabolite of pamaquine, has been prepared and evaluated as potential antimalarials in Plnsmodirtm berghei infected mice, Plasmodium gallinaceurn infected chicks, and against the sexual phase of P. gallinaceurn in mosquitoes.-4 few new" amino-1, 4-naphthoquinones and 4- alkoxy-1, 2-naphthoquinones have also been prepared and evaluated. Sone of the new ...
