Abstract
The selective reduction of carboxylic acid derivatives is one of the most important transformations in academic and industrial research. Such transformations afford countless building blocks for use in, for example, the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, or fine chemicals. Among those carboxylic acid derivatives, the reduction of amides is of great interest and is still a challenging task in organic chemistry.[1] Besides reduction with metal ...
