Abstract

The oxidativegive 2, 5-bis-(dialkylamino)-benzoquinones, are shown to be limited to active amines. react in these ways is attributed to its relatively weak basicity with respect to the Lewis acid quinone. amination method has been shown to be applicable to 1, 4- naphthoquinone also.
