Abstract

A series of perfluoro-and per (ch1orofluoro) cycloalkenes was treated with methylamine and ethylamine to give 1-alkylamino-2-chloro-(or fluoro-) 3-alkyliminopolyfluorocyc~ oalkenes which were hydrolyzed to the corresponding amino ketones. The same series of olefins also reacted with hydroxylamine to give 1, 2, 3-trioximinopolyfluorocycloalkanes. A monooxime was isolated and shown to be an intermediate in the trioxime formation.
