Abstract
Structure-Activity Relationships. The hypoglycemic activities of the benzimidoylpyrazoles are listed in Table I. The activity of compounds in this series was very sensitive to small changes in structure. Of all the substituents introduced at R, 8 (ethyl), 13 (cyclohexyl), and 18 (phenyl) produced the best hypoglycemic activity; 2 (isobutyl) was only slightly less active than 8, 13, or 18.
