Abstract
Results Competitive Allylic Bromination of Cyclohexene (11, 3-Bromocyclohexene (31, and 3, 6-Dibromocyclohexene (5). In order to form substantial yields of allylic products from the direct reaction of bromine with cyclohexene, bromine concentrations below M are needed.
