Abstract

CONCLUSION We have developed a highly convenient, efficient, and green catalytic system for the preparation of biologically important bis-and trisindolylmethanes in high yields through the electrophilic substitution reaction of indoles with carbonyl compounds using ZrO (DS) 2 as new LASC. This protocol will contribute to reducing the use of harmful organic solvents.
