Abstract

Abstract N-(Sulfonylmethyl) urethanes, described in the preceding paper 1, are converted into N-nitroso derivatives, RSO 2 CH 2 N (NO) CO 2 C 2 H 5, which are transformed into α- diazosulfones, RSO 2 CHN 2, by a heterogeneous reaction on alumina.
