Abstract
Abstract N-(Sulfonylmethyl) urethanes, described in the preceding paper 1, are converted into N-nitroso derivatives, RSO 2 CH 2 N (NO) CO 2 C 2 H 5, which are transformed into α- diazosulfones, RSO 2 CHN 2, by a heterogeneous reaction on alumina. Reaction of α- diazosulfones with hydrochloric acid leads to α-chlorosulfones, and with triphenylphosphine to so-called phosphazines, RSO 2 CH= NN= P (C 6 H 5) 3. The IR and NMR spectra of α- ...
