Abstract

In connection with the study of a variety of substituted styrenes as substitutes for styrene in GR-S, the syntheses of o-methoxy-, p-benzyl-, 0-fluoro-, and o-cyano-styrenes have been accomplished by routes not previously described. o-Methoxystyrene o-Methoxystyrene has been prepared by a number of methods2 which need not be enumerated.
