Abstract

First, we investigated the efficacy of EAN compared to the most commonly used ionic liquids, [Bmim]PF 6 and [Bmim]BF 4 ([Bmim]=1??butyl??3??methylimidazolium); some organic solvents; and water by the model condensation between p??N,N??dimethylaminobenzaldehyde and Meldrum's acid.
