Abstract
The recent confirmation by photoelectron spectroscopy of direct interaction between the cyclopropane ring and the n-orbitals in spiro [2.4] hepta-4, 6-diene (1)'has rekindled interest in the properties of spirocyclopentadiene derivatives.
