Abstract

Abstract The usefulness of 2-hydryl-2-(F-methyl)-F-propanoyl fluoride as a building block for the synthesis of trifluoro methylated compounds has been shown in the synthesis of the title compounds by the reaction of the acid fluoride with 1, 3-dimethylthiourea and 1, 3- dimethylurea followed by intramolecular cyclization.
