Abstract

Abstract Elastin-like peptides were synthesized by the liquid-phase method using poly (ethylene glycol) monomethyl ether (PEGM)(mw 5 000) as solubilizing support which provides an alternative possibility for conformational studies and spectroscopic measurements in solution. The following sequences were synthesized: Boc-Ala-Pro-Gly-Val- APEGM, Boc-Ala-Pro-Gly-Val-Gly-Val-APEGM, Boc-Ala-Pro-Gly-Val-Ala-Pro-Gly-Val-Gly- ...
