Abstract
h number of 4-X-siibstitiited amino-and carbamoyl-2, 3-polymethyleiiequi1ioliiies have been synthesized and have been foiuid to exhibit a wide spectrum of pharmacological properties, which incalade analgetic, local anesthetic, analeptic, and respiratory stimulant activities. In particular 4-(4-morpholin~-1)-2, 3-pentamethylenequinoline has shown significant and promising analeptic and respiratory stimulant activity.
