Abstract

Abstract N-trifluoromethylamines of the general formula R 2 NCF 3 (R= Me (I), Et (II), i-Pr (III), i-Bu (IV); 2R=(CH 3) 2 C-(CH 2) 3-C (CH 3) 2 (V) and (CH 2) 6 (VI)) have been obtained from the corresponding secondaryamines R 2 NH with the reagent combination tetrakis (dimethylamino) ethylene/CF 2 Br 2/(CH 2) 4 SO 2 in moderate yields. The new N- trifluoromethylamineshave been characterized by elemental analyses, multi-nuclearNMR ...
