Abstract
Vinylogous hydroxamic acids (3-(N-hydroxy-N-alkylamino)-2-propen-l-ones, VHA) were prepared as antiinflammatory agents. The synthesis, chemical properties, and in vitro biological activities of these relatively unexplored compounds are described.
