Abstract

In a recent paper' defining the term “mixed aquo-ammonocarbonic acid,” it was shown that there is a large discrepancy between the number of known compounds of this type and the number which may be formu- lated. Furthermore, there are several reactions, rather simple in nature, which would be expected to characterize these compounds as mixed aquo-ammonocarbonic acids, but which have not as yet received experi- mental verification.
