Abstract

Aggregated β-amyloid (Aβ) plays crucial roles in Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis, therefore blockade of Aβ aggregation is considered as a potential therapeutic target. We designed and synthesized small molecules to reduce Aβ-induced cytotoxicity by inhibiting Aβ aggregation.
