Abstract

Abstract The oxidation process of 1-methoxy-4-(1-methylethyl) benzene catalysed by N- hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) or NHPI in combination with Cu (II), Co (II), Mn (II) and Fe (II) salts was studied.
