Abstract
N, N′-Diiodo-N, N′-1, 2-ethanediyl bis (p-toluenesulfonamide)(NIBTS) is an effective catalyst for the silylation of alcohols and phenols using hexamethyldisilazane under solvent- free and microwave conditions.
