Abstract
Ethylcyclopropane was prepared by a Wolf'i-Kishner reduction of the ketone at atmospheric pressure, the method used being a modification of that of Herr, Whitmore and Schiessler3 who first described a practical prrocedure for carrying out this reaction without the use of pressure equipment.
