Abstract

Conclusions The conformational equilibria of 2-[(4-methoxy-phenyl) seleno]-1, 3-dithiane and the configurational equilibria of the corresponding 4, 6-dimethyl-l, 3-dithianes in various solvents have been examined. Plots of In K vs 1/T using data from both types of experiments are linear and yield values for the enthalpy and entropy differences.
