Abstract

An efficient and convenient synthesis of chiral enephosphonic acid derivatives (enephosphonates, enephosphonamides, enephosphinates) was reported by a two-step procedure involving alkylidenediphosphorylation of nucleophiles followed by a Horner– Emmons olefination.
