Abstract
The ethyl and n-propyl diboranes were prepared, as part of general study2 of the effect of substituents on the anomalous boron to boron linkage, to determine whether increase in the molecular weight of the radical replacing hydrogen in diborane is accompanied by marked changes in the stability of the compounds.
