Abstract
In the course of our search for new antiepileptic drugs we synthesized a 6-phenyl-3- aminopyridazine derivative [6-(2-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-hydroxypiperidino) pyridazine], which proved to be an orally active, potent anticonvulsant in a variety of animal models of epilep~ y.'~ To this day, only four series of 6-phenyl-3-aminopyridazines have been described for their activity on the central nervous system. 16 Minaprine has been found active in animal ...
