Abstract

Our route to 1 from phytosphingosine (2) is shown in Scheme [1] . At first, the coupling of phytosphingosine with hexacosanoic acid was examined. There are a number of methodologies in the literature concerning the N-acylation of sphingosines with fatty acids.
