Abstract

June, 1951 2-ALKYLAMINO DERIVATIVES OF PTEROYLGLUTAMIC ACID 2865 4-amino-6, 7-dimethylpteridines. The 2-dimethylamino analogs of I and I1 were prepared by modifications of the Waller reaction, using 2, 3-dibromopropanal, p-aminobenzoylglutamic acid, and the appropriate 2-dimethylamino-5, 6-diaminopyrimi-dines.
