Abstract

A novel class of C2-symmetric ligand has been prepared using an intramolecular cyclisation reaction of a diazaphosphole borane complex. Preliminary results of its application to the asymmetric catalysis of hydrogenation, hydrosilylation and allylic substitution reactions are described.
