Abstract

Cu (II), Mn (II), Ni (II), and Zn (II) metal complexes with novel heterocyclic Schiff base derived from 5-phenyl azo-salicyladehyde and o-amino benzoic acid have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, electronic, IR, and 1H NMR spectra, and also by aid of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction, molar ratio measurements, molar conductivity measurements, and thermogravimetric analyses.
