Abstract
In an attempt to eliminate reduction of the initially formed radical, we next examined hexamethylditin as a source of stannyl radical^.^^^ Thus, a benzene solution of iodocyclohexane (1. O equiv) and hexamethylditin (1.2 equiv) was irradiated through Pyrex until'H NMR analysis indicated an absence of starting iodide.
