Abstract
Abstract A series of symmetrical and unsymmetrical 1, 4-dihydropyridines were synthesized by a rapid, single pot microwave irradiation (MWI) based protocol along with conventional approach and characterized by NMR, IR and mass spectroscopic techniques.
