Abstract
Xenon difluoride and caesium fluoroxysulphate reacted in methylene chloride or acetonitrile with various enol acetates, diketones, and ketones, yielding mainly α-fluoro ketones, the course of the reaction depending on the reagent and the structure of the organic molecule.
