Abstract: Evidence is presented that the rearrangements of several I, 8-bishomocubane derivatives by various Rh (1) and Pd (ll) catalysts are sensitive not only to the nature of the ligands attached to the metal but also to the level of substitution at the reaction site (C, and CS).
