Abstract
Genes encoding eight Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases have recently been cloned from bacteria inhabiting a wastewater treatment plant. We have carried out a systematic investigation in which each newly cloned enzyme, as well as the cyclohexanone monooxygenase from Acinetobacter sp.
