Abstract
Summary It has been demonstrated that aminoguanidine is extremely resistant to acid hydrolysis. Aminoguanidine is not hydrolyzed in acid solutions of concentrations and in times comparable to extensive alkaline hydrolysis. 2. At low acid concentrations both aminoguanidine and semicarbazide were found to be resistant to hydrolysis, but with increasing acid coiicentration and time of hydrolysis, semicarbazide is decomposed ...
