Abstract
In 2, 2, 2-trichloro-N, N′-bis (4-methoxyphenyl) ethane-1, 1-diamine, C16H17Cl3N2O2, molecules are linked into helical chains by N—H⋯ O hydrogen bonds. Molecules of 2, 2, 2- trichloro-N, N′-bis (4-chlorophenyl) ethane-1, 1-diamine, C14H11Cl5N2, are connected into a three-dimensional framework by two independent Cl⋯ Cl interactions and one C—H⋯ Cl hydrogen bond.
