Abstract

Within this paper we present six novel achiral indolyl-substituted titanocenes, synthesized from the hydridolithiation of the substituted fulvenes and Super Hydride, followed by transmetalation with titanium tetrachloride. These compounds were tested in vitro against the human renal cell carcinoma CAKI-1 cell line with promising IC50 values as low as 8.2 μM.
