Abstract
Abstract Trifluoromethylated thiobenzanilides are efficiently converted to 2- trifluoromethylbenzothiazoles via intramolecular oxidative cyclization under CAN/NaHCO 3 oxidation, while the dimerized products with “–S–S–” bond linkage are obtained when PIDA is used as an oxidant.
