Abstract

We have previously shown that the Fe (II) tetrakis-N, N, N′, N′-(2-pyridylmethyl) ethylenediamine complex (Fe (II) TPEN) has high superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, using the xanthine–xanthine oxidase–cytochrome c method (cyt. c method)[J.
