Abstract

Method B. $-Methyl+(S'-methoxy) anilinopyrrolo [SJ3d1 pyrimidine. Into 17 ml. of dimethylformamide was added 2.06 g.(0.123 mole) of 2-methyl-4-chloropyrolopyrimidine and 6.04 g.(0.049 mole) of o-anisidine. The reaction mixture was refluxed for 1.5 hr. An equal volume of water was added and the mix% ure was chilled overnight. After filtration and vacuum dessication, 3.1 g.(99% yield) of tan product waa obtained. Upon recrystallization ...
